Our focus on innovation and pioneering science is a reflection on our commitment to our customers. In partnership with the Agricultural University of Athens, the R&D department of Athonites screens and evaluates all herbs of Mount Athos used in our products for their bioactive properties.

Together, we map the biodiversity of the pristine ecosystem of Mount Athos, focusing on the discovery of endemic herbs with rich and highly active ingredients. We center our attention on uncovering natural ingredients with powerful antioxidant, antiaging, detoxifying, photo-protective, whitening and antimicrobial properties.

We combine indigenous knowledge passed down through generations with the latest molecular techniques and select bioactive extracts based on their remarkable health and cosmetic effects.

Our mission is to protect, restore and promote the Mount Athos ecosystem through the sustainable utilization of its exceptional biodiversity. To this end we strive to develop products based on scientific research, always guided by knowledge, evidence, and transparency in the field of natural cosmetics.
